About Us

The Judy Sare Nursery School is a Keystone Stars School and operates in a state-of-the-art facility. Our dedicated staff of teachers and aides provide an educational, social, and emotional atmosphere where you and your child are treated with respect and understanding.

What Makes Us Different?

The children receive the attention that they need in a nurturing environment where they are praised and encouraged. Our school offers a wide ranging and well balanced program to promote intellectual, physical, emotional, social and cultural development. Play is encouraged in all areas of learning. There is a choice of activities and materials that will help your child develop emotionally and grow academically.

Our teachers have experience in working with children and actively engage in activities with them. Children learn consideration of others and are taught to feel good about themselves. They receive individual attention and their strengths and accomplishments are praised. Learning occurs in ways that they can understand.

Family Involvement

Parents are provided with ongoing information about their child’s activities and progress.

We stress the importance of family involvement by hosting several yearly opportunities for parents to take part in special programs. We sponsor an active PTO that works on various fundraising events throughout the year. We also have an Education Committee that works on policymaking and program development. Parents are welcome at any time to observe our program.

From the Director

Shalom,

My name is Jason Roe and I direct the Judy Sare Nursery School and Camp Simcha of Tifereth Israel.

This past year has been an incredible journey at Judy Sare Nursery School. In my first full year in this role, I’ve had the privilege of watching our children grow, our families connect, and our programs thrive in ways that make me proud every single day.

One of our biggest accomplishments was becoming a fully licensed Department of Human Services Child Care Provider. This recognition reflects the dedication and professionalism of our staff, who bring so much love and creativity into the classroom each day. We have also begun our journey in the Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS program, a statewide quality initiative that helps early childhood programs grow stronger, continually improve, and provide the very best for children and families.

What makes our Judy Sare Nursery and Hebrew School truly special are the people. Our staff amazes me with their teamwork, passion, and creativity, building an environment where teachers feel supported and children feel safe, nurtured, and inspired to explore.

And of course, at the heart of it all are our children. The Nursery schoolers are full of energy, love doing mitzvot, and are so proud of sharing their projects and talking about their activities. The Hebrew School students bring their curiosity and eagerness to the classroom, challenging our teachers with thoughtful questions, even on Sunday mornings! Watching and engaging with all your children reminds me daily how grateful I am to have accepted this position and how they have become a part of my life.

Looking ahead, I am excited for another year of learning, discovery, and community. I feel honored to be part of this journey with Cindy. With the solid foundation we have built, I know this year will bring even more growth and joy. Together, we are excited to continue building on our past achievements. We are always open to new ideas and eager to see where the future takes us.
